Central Ohio Roofing • Owner-Led Care
A Better Roof Starts With an Honest Conversation
The Metal Roof Company helps homeowners understand what their roof needs, compare practical options, and move forward with confidence.
Who We Are
Roofing Knowledge With Owner-Level Accountability
The Metal Roof Company is a family-oriented Central Ohio roofing company built around a straightforward idea: homeowners deserve clear answers, careful diagnosis, and work completed with respect for their home.
Owner Dan Toland brings broad roofing and building-trades knowledge to each conversation. His hands-on approach helps uncover problems that can be easy to miss and keeps the recommendation focused on the best path for the homeowner—not the most complicated sale.
From metal roofing and asphalt systems to inspections and exterior improvements, our goal is to explain the condition, the options, and the next step in plain language.
What Guides Our Work
The Values Behind Every Recommendation
Honest Diagnosis
We begin by understanding the roof in front of us. If repair, monitoring, or replacement makes the most sense, we explain why.
Respectful Service
A roofing project affects your home and daily life. Communication, property protection, and a clean work area matter throughout the process.
Practical Value
The right roof balances performance, appearance, maintenance, and budget. We help homeowners compare those tradeoffs clearly.
The Owner-Led Difference
Expert Attention From the First Look Forward
Roofing problems are rarely one-size-fits-all. Ventilation, flashing, penetrations, drainage, decking, prior repairs, and the roof system itself can all affect the right solution.
- Direct, understandable explanations
- Careful attention to details other estimates may overlook
- Options matched to your home and long-term plans
- Local perspective on Central Ohio weather and homes

“I met Dan at the home and gardens in Columbus Ohio. He came out we had a contract I changed my mind he came back out he ask me exactly what things had I changed my mind on we drew up another contract. Then we met Dennis the project manager he was friendly and helpful. The crew Dennis set up to do the roof was amazing they were friendly and worked very hard in the freezing cold weather and in the light rain with safety harness and ropes. They measured cut and custom fit all the metal to our house’s roof. They picked all the metal all the nails and plastic they left the house super clean nothing was left behind when they were done. Our roof looks fantastic and my husband and I love it!! Our goal in our senior years was to have a roof we never have to replace again and this roof meets that expectation. Thank you kindly to all of metal roof company in helping us reach that goal.”

“I want to thank the people at The Metal Roof Company (Dan) for coming out and looking at my roof. They did a wonderful job on the new shingles a year ago. When I had a leak somewhere that settled in the foyer and needed to find where the water was coming from, they came out and made a thorough examination of the roof and determined everything was fine. What a relief. Thanks again Dan. Very much appreciated, Nancy”
